Business is growing

 The business is a smooth sailing boat and my predictions are coming to reality.

I set out to start my #2 airbnb, and made it profitable. In fact, it has been booked out almost fully until June. That's a very nice stable business in my opinion.

I think there are different levels of zoom in the business. The medium level zoom, or the manager level, where I can see that the business is going well in the reasonable big picture. Here I can see the profitability in terms of month-to-month, or quarterly.

And then there is high-level zoom, where I can manage things in great detail like a technician. At this level, I can tell the profitability day to day, or what I make in a month.

Finally, there is the zoom-out zoom, where I can see the big picture. This is the visionary level. I can see where the company is going, and although I do not think in small details, I can make the most impactful decisions here.

Soon I will start a third airbnb and I believe that this will be the inflection point where the business can be almost in autopilot mode.

I want to make the operations side of the business fully automated. This way I can fully commit to focusing fully on expanding the properties. Around 5 unit mark, I will automate the expanding process as well. My vision for 100+ airbnb company is slowly coming to reality.

The other day I heard that anxiety and excitement are very similar. I think it is just a matter of perception and I am glad I feel exited most of the time. Future is bright!

Korean pitstop

     After having spent 1 month in Budapest, I have been summoned back to Seoul. It's been going strong, and it's kind of a bummer to pull a sudden break, but I set up my pieces back in Budapest well, so that things would still move forward without me physically being there. Act 3

     I feel that I have entered a new chapter of my life. My upbringing was act 1, and my introduction into business was act 2, then my transformation into a SAAS entrepreneur is the beginning of my act 3. Act 1 was around 25 years, act 2 was 5 years, and now I have spent about 6 months as a SAAS entrepreneur. I feel that a lot more time has passed than it actually has, but yeah it's quite a lot of work. The difference with the airbnb business is that, with airbnb it's limited by things such as physical space and time, for the SAAS business, there's no such limitation. I can put into it as much time and effort as I desire. In the airbnb business, the business is determined by how many rooms I have and how much time has passed. How much work I put into it did not change the revenue. Whereas in this business, if I put in 100 hrs instead of 10 hrs into an app, I would see the difference in revenue. Where I'm at

So I am in the process of developing a successful SAAS and App. My app currently has 43 subscribers, and it's growing everyday. I think that if I can reach the total addressable market with it, it's going to be pretty significant. On the other hand, I've recently put together a team of pretty smart people to begin a start up. And I half convinced my friend Ayob to join so we're already good to go! If we're going to create a great start up, we're going to need all the best talent we can find. So anyway that's where I'm at. Growing my app, and posing to pounce for a start up. I will make it work out.
