When you want something done right, do it yourself

 I have come to fire another manager this month. It is the 2nd manager I had to fire.

I wonder what about this position is so hard to get right. He is a sentimental and very likable person.

But we don't deal in the business of sentiments. We deal in the business of doing things right, done on time.

Kind of sad but I had to fire him. I'm feeling much less guilty than I did before.

Now I'm thinking about structuring the business as a startup rather than a small business.

I would have a head of design, head of expansion, etc.

It's exciting to think of growth and creating something new and grandiose.

I want to create the Mariott of airbnbs.
