Fear nothing, appreciate everything

 As humans we think about death a lot. Perhaps we are the only animal aware of our eventual demise. In other words, we expect that nothingness will eventually meet us. But then very few think about nothingness that was before life. If a human's life was on a timeline chart it would look like a very long time of nothingness and then life and then back to nothingness.

You could say that pre birth is the same as post death. People wonder where we go after death but no one questions where we were before birth.

It is a question I do not have the answer to as well. But a profound shift in perspective. Perhaps courage that where we are headed is not some place to be feared of, but some place very familiar we came from.

Act 3

     I feel that I have entered a new chapter of my life. My upbringing was act 1, and my introduction into business was act 2, then my transformation into a SAAS entrepreneur is the beginning of my act 3. Act 1 was around 25 years, act 2 was 5 years, and now I have spent about 6 months as a SAAS entrepreneur. I feel that a lot more time has passed than it actually has, but yeah it's quite a lot of work. The difference with the airbnb business is that, with airbnb it's limited by things such as physical space and time, for the SAAS business, there's no such limitation. I can put into it as much time and effort as I desire. In the airbnb business, the business is determined by how many rooms I have and how much time has passed. How much work I put into it did not change the revenue. Whereas in this business, if I put in 100 hrs instead of 10 hrs into an app, I would see the difference in revenue.       Like peanut butter and jelly, marketing goes hand in hand with whatever business you're selling. In today's information age, marketing has been hyper-charged by constant connectivity. Users are on their smartphones all day while being exposed to advertisements. Even if one wants to listen to his favorite podcast, he can't finish the episode without going through embedded advertisements throughout. You could have one of the best products in the world, an iphone, and it will not sell at all if no one knows about it.
