day 1

    So I've been growing my app actively on social medias and learning the ropes of the basics in Marketing...

I thought either something was wrong with the display count or there's been some miracle, because no one was cancelling their subscription. But after a quick prompt to gpt, it turns out even if users cancel, if it's during free trial, it only shows up after the trial is over, so that kind of throws a wrench on my plans...

Sometimes I have a tendency to try and ignore negative facts.. I'll have to see how things turn out now but things may be harsher than I originally anticipated.

I really need to make my app super useful or addictive. At the moment it's interesting enough for people to download but I haven't figured out the other piece of the puzzle, which is to keep users engaged...

So perhaps I'm being pessimistic now but we'll see what happens. Also I'll only check the statistics on Mondays and Fridays, as it causes me too much dread to how the number is changing.

Sometimes the energy is overspent on something, gaining only marginal returns on the invested effort. It is inefficient therefore I should focus more on things I can control.


On another note, I've been working out recently, and I feel my mind is clearer and healthier.

All in all, I believe I'm heading in the right direction and this year is going to be amazing.

Korean pitstop

     After having spent 1 month in Budapest, I have been summoned back to Seoul. It's been going strong, and it's kind of a bummer to pull a sudden break, but I set up my pieces back in Budapest well, so that things would still move forward without me physically being there. Act 3

     I feel that I have entered a new chapter of my life. My upbringing was act 1, and my introduction into business was act 2, then my transformation into a SAAS entrepreneur is the beginning of my act 3. Act 1 was around 25 years, act 2 was 5 years, and now I have spent about 6 months as a SAAS entrepreneur. I feel that a lot more time has passed than it actually has, but yeah it's quite a lot of work. The difference with the airbnb business is that, with airbnb it's limited by things such as physical space and time, for the SAAS business, there's no such limitation. I can put into it as much time and effort as I desire. In the airbnb business, the business is determined by how many rooms I have and how much time has passed. How much work I put into it did not change the revenue. Whereas in this business, if I put in 100 hrs instead of 10 hrs into an app, I would see the difference in revenue. Where I'm at

So I am in the process of developing a successful SAAS and App. My app currently has 43 subscribers, and it's growing everyday. I think that if I can reach the total addressable market with it, it's going to be pretty significant. On the other hand, I've recently put together a team of pretty smart people to begin a start up. And I half convinced my friend Ayob to join so we're already good to go! If we're going to create a great start up, we're going to need all the best talent we can find. So anyway that's where I'm at.
