only upwards

    I feel that I just passed the "death valley" of start ups. I guess there's still a lot to work on, but finally things are looking up and I see a clear path to growth now.

It's all been so much more work than I thought, but now that's all about to change. I can finally proudly call myself an entrepreneur, and I am very happy to do so.

Also I've seen my new friend Ahmet work like a ceo, and it was pretty cool. I wish I took a better look! But it did indeed seem very busy with meetings and delegations, exactly what I would do if I ran a big team. And that was perhaps a peek into what my life would look like running a $100k MRR business.


The day is young and future bright! I feel quite blessed these days and look forward to continuously growing my business!

Act 3

     I feel that I have entered a new chapter of my life. My upbringing was act 1, and my introduction into business was act 2, then my transformation into a SAAS entrepreneur is the beginning of my act 3. Act 1 was around 25 years, act 2 was 5 years, and now I have spent about 6 months as a SAAS entrepreneur. I feel that a lot more time has passed than it actually has, but yeah it's quite a lot of work. The difference with the airbnb business is that, with airbnb it's limited by things such as physical space and time, for the SAAS business, there's no such limitation. I can put into it as much time and effort as I desire. In the airbnb business, the business is determined by how many rooms I have and how much time has passed. How much work I put into it did not change the revenue. Whereas in this business, if I put in 100 hrs instead of 10 hrs into an app, I would see the difference in revenue.       Like peanut butter and jelly, marketing goes hand in hand with whatever business you're selling. In today's information age, marketing has been hyper-charged by constant connectivity. Users are on their smartphones all day while being exposed to advertisements. Even if one wants to listen to his favorite podcast, he can't finish the episode without going through embedded advertisements throughout.
