Constructs
We live in a world that is half illusion, half reality. Half of what we take as life is made up of constructs. Private property, status, success, conflicts, competition, businesses, brands, and zero-sum games. Game Theory, Laws, and Recipes. Humans create concepts and pretend that they are fundamental reality. The truth is half of the things around us were invented by us and only exist because we perpetuate their existence by considering them as fact.
The only law of the universe is the law of physics. Everything else are just suggestions. -Elon Musk
Everything around us was made by people no better than us. -Steve Jobs
The world is a very malleable place. If one goes after what they want with maximum effort, most things can change. Most humans have the capacity to exert at least one of their visions in this world if they were to make that their sole life purpose. However we choose not to because we are distracted by vanities and distractions in life. It is a God-given gift that is wasted for what?
However there is one in a million that is born with the burning desire to impose their vision and will upon this world. Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte, Steve Jobs, and Elon Musk. Some not so great such as Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun, and Hitler. These men have put aside their petty distractions and made their vision their sole purpose in life. As a result their names will be remembered for millenniums to come.
As an 8 year-old kid, I remember realizing the coldness and finality of my own mortality. And I remember thinking that there is no greater honor than to become etched into the history books as one of the greats. There is an old saying that "when a tiger dies it leaves its fur, and when a man dies he leaves his name." No truer words were spoken.
The funny thing is I was distracted in my teens and twenties. It is only when I turned thirty that I had the cold water splash on my face. In the blink of an eye I will turn 35 and then 40. Julius Caesar also had a moment when he turned 30 and saw the statue of Alexander the Great. He fell into tears as he realized that he did not accomplish much by the age of 30. I was in the same spot and I dedicated a year and a half since I turned 30 into creating some kind of a great company. Making money is not my goal. It's a start but I have great ambitions like Napoleon Bonaparte. I do not know what my destination is but I know that my next stop will be in San Francisco or Austin, Texas. I have been opening my eyes in greatness as I read more about Napoleon and think more about the greats in the past. I live in a tumultuous time where AI is starting to open its eyes and wake up. This will perhaps be one of the most important moments in human history. I have a clear shot at making a name for myself.
I do not know how or even where, but I can just feel that the ground is ripe for there to be an epic saga to unfold. And all the top players right now they may be important figures but none have the charisma or importance to go down as one of the greats. Elon Musk may be remembered as a great inventor and an entrepreneur even greater than Steve Jobs but he does not possess the charisma or boldness to be a leader. Sam Altman while he may be the godfather of the AI movement is not it. And Donald Trump is an old aging politician who I think means well but is too old to make a difference. Zoran Mamdani is interesting. He's young and with a civil war about to break out in the U.S., he will clearly be the leader of the new reign of terror. He has a long way to go and I can see that unfolding as clear as day.
What can I do to contribute in the dawn of AI era? What kind of impact and influence can I have in this society, and the world? I do live in a time where technically the world is on equal planes for everyone. I can make the right moves from now and become a billionaire. I can bootstrap a billion-dollar company. As one person. There was Minecraft in the past but with AI it will be even easier. I think I would like to keep a small team that utilizes AI to the maximum. But even my employees I think will be more like AI handlers. The time is coming rapidly where human intelligence cannot match that of AI and AI will outperform humans in every metric including strategies, tactics, and planning. So why use inferior ability and performances when you can use better ones at a lower cost at lightning speeds? This is undoubtedly the direction of the future and companies.
If a major war doesn't break out, I think that there is a fair shot that there will be true utopia where no one has to work and everyone lives in absolute abundance. However as history proved many times in the past, I do not think that will be the case. Going back to the beginning of this thesis we have zero-sum games, rules, and laws that are artificially constructed human concepts. I think that the rich will impose manufactured poverty in this world. Out of a petty reason like just to feel better or superior. Perhaps the world is ripe for another revolution. Whatever the future holds I think it will be very unpredictable and no one would have seen it coming. I.e. a socialist/ communist revolution.
Would I band behind that or would I be on the opposing side? By nature I think that I am republican. Or like Napoleon will I step in as a mediator between the right and the left? And then become an emperor. That doesn't sound too shabby. If the mind can conceive it, then perhaps it is as good as done. The U.S. really needs a figure like Napoleon right now. Perhaps I could be it within ten years. The chaos is a ladder. Perhaps with enough political turmoil and craziness going on, it will give me a chance to rise up the ladder like Napoleon did. Probably less than 0.1% or 0.01% of humanity thinks like I do. And that already puts me ahead of 99.9% or 99.99% of the competition. I do not lust for money or power. I want to contribute to society, world, and humanity. I want to write a chapter in the history book. Perhaps I am not good enough, not smart enough, and not pure enough. But it is what I desire deep down in my soul.
Every person possesses a unique shape of their soul. Throughout the course of their life, they manifest that shape into their life. This is how I understand as above so below and as within so without. Mine is that of ambition, impact, and greatness. Perhaps it is a burden to carry such a soul. However I do not disapprove of it. In fact I welcome it. I would not have preferred to have it any other way. I love who I am, the way I am, and the way I feel. I will pour my heart out into manifesting my destiny.
I am who I am.
