business growth and entj identity
So I don't know if there's any correlation there, but I've been growing my business and at the same time identifying very much with the ENTJ MBTI. Almost as if I understand a big part of myself now that I see my thinking process. Let's talk about my business first.
So the biggest change is that I finally took the risk and opened a new Airbnb, and made a new amazing hire. I did the things that I set out to do. My first employee is Nathalie, and I think that things are going so well with her because I understand her MBTI, which is INFJ. And not only that but I understand myself very well being an ENTJ. I can take it even further and understand our dynamic. I think this is very useful for communicating well and working efficiently together.
And my 2nd location Airbnb has been popping off. At a higher price range, it's been getting booked out like hotcakes. For the 3 months, I've been booked out to the point of breaking even, so I can't even lose money from this risk I took. Amazing!
So I believe it's time I take a moment to celebrate myself for making $3~4k/monthly like I've been saying I would for a long time. It's not 100% there yet, but it's coming in.
Now it's time to open a 3rd location, and I believe I will hit $6~7k/month profit. It's quite ambitious, but I believe in the possibility. Just like I believed in my 2nd Airbnb and it came to reality, it would serve me best to believe in it and make it happen.
Nathalie is helping me a lot with the business, taking a big burden off my shoulders so I can't appreciate that enough.
So let's keep the ship cruising, don't get giddy like top G says, and be smooth like James Bond. The money came in? Good. Keep it moving. Where's the next money? Money in, money in!
Also now is the time to be proactive. I had a close call today where I almost missed out on the rent due because I was not careful enough with my accounting. I can cover my rent for 2nd Airbnb, but the way money is coming in is somewhat hectic, and I could easily slip up and miss a payment. I need a backup fund for rent, in case the accounting doesn't add up.
This reminds me that business is quite fickle in nature, and I need to be proactive rather than reactive to events. I need to suit up, armor up, and create a bunch of turrets for unexpected attacks that may come my way. I need to be aware of every little potential hole where things might crack and become a bigger hole.
Money solves most of the problems so I should save up a lot of money.
