Progress and prevailing over the trickster

    Despite the one step back from the blunder of having to waste 2k usd down the drain, I still had another bullet, as I talked about in the previous blog.

I spent the whole day walking around Sinchon and Hongdae looking for a new house. On top of it all, I also decided to do a version of Ramadan, where I can only drink water, coffee, and chew gum. At the end of the day, running around everywhere, I finally found the spot. I loved it, Sean loved it, my parents loved it, and even one of my girls loved it.

I was a bit lacking in funds, and somehow I managed to ask Sean for the extra 700 usd (altho still 700 usd short, but that can come out of my pocket).

Anyways, I did not miss my second bullet. so In theory, by May I should be making 6 million krw in profits. Things get a bit abstract as the size of the operation grows. But I will try my best to keep a tight grip on things. Let's say that on Mondays and Wednesdays, I will be doing the accounting. The most boring days, how fitting.

Anyways, let's keep moving and keep the momentum going.

The next step is to establish some proper legitimate 2-bedroom Airbnb in Hongdae.

Korean pitstop

     After having spent 1 month in Budapest, I have been summoned back to Seoul. It's been going strong, and it's kind of a bummer to pull a sudden break, but I set up my pieces back in Budapest well, so that things would still move forward without me physically being there. Act 3

     I feel that I have entered a new chapter of my life. My upbringing was act 1, and my introduction into business was act 2, then my transformation into a SAAS entrepreneur is the beginning of my act 3. Act 1 was around 25 years, act 2 was 5 years, and now I have spent about 6 months as a SAAS entrepreneur. I feel that a lot more time has passed than it actually has, but yeah it's quite a lot of work. The difference with the airbnb business is that, with airbnb it's limited by things such as physical space and time, for the SAAS business, there's no such limitation. I can put into it as much time and effort as I desire. In the airbnb business, the business is determined by how many rooms I have and how much time has passed. How much work I put into it did not change the revenue. Whereas in this business, if I put in 100 hrs instead of 10 hrs into an app, I would see the difference in revenue. Where I'm at

So I am in the process of developing a successful SAAS and App. My app currently has 43 subscribers, and it's growing everyday. I think that if I can reach the total addressable market with it, it's going to be pretty significant. On the other hand, I've recently put together a team of pretty smart people to begin a start up. And I half convinced my friend Ayob to join so we're already good to go! If we're going to create a great start up, we're going to need all the best talent we can find. So anyway that's where I'm at. Growing my app, and posing to pounce for a start up. I will make it work out.
