it's been awhile

    It has been a while since the last time I wrote something on my blogger. There was a time when I wrote a blog every day, but I've been quite busy, especially with the hongdae bnb expansion. My initial impression is that things are working out great. I believe that I am ready for a new expansion with 2 bedrooms, the long-time holy grail that I have been chasing after. Not only is it fully legal, but it would increase my cashflow significantly. There is a bit of a barrier to entry, which is good because it means less competition.

Anyways if I get this setup, I would have left the stratosphere, like a rocket escaping gravity. I would have achieved freedom, and finally reach out to the love of my life. Perhaps I want to get to 10mil a month first.

But I also feel that I need to get back to the basics of good guest experience and a solid operations manual. Nothing beats hard work!

Korean pitstop

     After having spent 1 month in Budapest, I have been summoned back to Seoul. It's been going strong, and it's kind of a bummer to pull a sudden break, but I set up my pieces back in Budapest well, so that things would still move forward without me physically being there. Act 3

     I feel that I have entered a new chapter of my life. My upbringing was act 1, and my introduction into business was act 2, then my transformation into a SAAS entrepreneur is the beginning of my act 3. Act 1 was around 25 years, act 2 was 5 years, and now I have spent about 6 months as a SAAS entrepreneur. I feel that a lot more time has passed than it actually has, but yeah it's quite a lot of work. The difference with the airbnb business is that, with airbnb it's limited by things such as physical space and time, for the SAAS business, there's no such limitation. I can put into it as much time and effort as I desire. In the airbnb business, the business is determined by how many rooms I have and how much time has passed. How much work I put into it did not change the revenue. Whereas in this business, if I put in 100 hrs instead of 10 hrs into an app, I would see the difference in revenue. Where I'm at

So I am in the process of developing a successful SAAS and App. My app currently has 43 subscribers, and it's growing everyday. I think that if I can reach the total addressable market with it, it's going to be pretty significant. On the other hand, I've recently put together a team of pretty smart people to begin a start up. And I half convinced my friend Ayob to join so we're already good to go! If we're going to create a great start up, we're going to need all the best talent we can find. So anyway that's where I'm at. Growing my app, and posing to pounce for a start up. I will make it work out.
