Cruising

All crews onboard, get to your stations, and maintain speed!

The deck is fully occupied, with each member doing what they are supposed to. It is indeed quite a heavy responsibility to be responsible for the lively hood of everyone onboard, but the pressure is reduced due to lower wages.

Every position comes with written instructions, and each staff is like a part of the whole machine that makes the company run. And it is not a one-way street. It takes 2 to tango, and the customer is our dance partner.

I have to note that Nathalie has been going kind of off the rails. I gave her more responsibility and power, and she has been leaning towards the easy way, and doing whatever she wants. I wanted her to be a clone of mine, who thinks and can make decisions like I would. Perhaps, it's the added weight of more staff and the busier schedule, but I do have to keep a closer eye on her.

She is not performing as I wanted her to. I believe the solution to that is to give more clear guidelines and expectations from her, at the very least complete certain tasks, and stay up to a standard.

Besides all that, a lot of work and tasks has been lifted off my shoulder, and I can put more energy toward the expansion process. I'm delegating the process of work assignments and accounting, which without even noticing, became quite taxing on me.

So things are improving for me.

On a side note, I had an epiphany where it became quite clear to me how meaningless it is to party and drink alcohol all night. It is not the most effective way to get laid with a lot of beautiful girls, and very counterproductive for my growth personally and business-wise. So it's just dumb overall.

And more importantly, it is becoming more and more clear that if I "maintain course", I will not arrive at the ambitious destination which I hope for.

So yeah, I need to work on building a new lifestyle that fits my new identity. A new identity has been forming since I started making a lot of money, and I'm starting to grow comfortably into it. I will own my ideal identity along with my ideal lifestyle.

Attention crews, maintain course and increase speed!
