I sense a change in the winds
Some say that people can't change.
Well let's think about it rationally. Anything and everything can change. As a matter of fact, the only thing that never changes is that things change.
It is true that people are creatures of habit. However, in my opinion it is more like inertia rather than a fixed pattern. An object in a certain motion wants to stay in that certain motion. Whether it be a rotational, linear, stationary, or exponential motion.
I believe that people are like programs with a code in their subconscious. It is the only way a society can exist. Everyone playing their roles. Like an ant colony, except way more complex. There are soldier ants, queen ants, worker ants, and even door ants who's job is to be a door and block the entrance with their massive heads. You see, without roles, a society cannot exist.
The society cannot exist without its cleaners and politicians, farmers and programmers. Some are necessary, and others greatly boost the efficiency of the whole system. Things come to existence out of necessity.
But to say that this subconscious code cannot be changed is just wrong.
Unlike ants, our roles are determined by our subconscious. Although as stable as it may be, it is nowhere as fixed as how ants are.
Let's just say that just like an object with a lot of inertia, it takes a lot of force to snap out of that motion.
I believe the key to this transformation is visualization.
Constant visualization and meditation.
One needs to clean the slate empty and then rewrite his program.
Naturally one has to wonder what his subconscious program is.
If he looks around, is it not obvious?
I have had massive change as of late.
I stopped drinking and partying so much.
I read everyday.
I work on my business everyday.
I write everyday.
I exercise regularly.
I eat healthy.
Actions are the gateway to change.
If one claims to be Muslim but makes Catholic prayers everyday, does it not make him Catholic?
If one says that he is a basketball player but he is the best soccer player and plays soccer a lot more time than basketball, does it not make him a soccer player?
One becomes what he does, not what he says he it.
Thoughts become action.
Action defines the man.
