Fate

So it's been a pretty rough month. Working on Fate app and all. It turns out there's a good reason billion dollar software company is what it is!

I mean even the base architecture of the app turned out to be much of a headache to build, but I'm like 80~90% done. Well, without all the fancy backend algorithm and machine learning stuff. Building this made me realize how much I actually need to hire the best talent - or Ai.

It is actually quite mind boggling how if I wanted to build this without Ai, it would have taken at the very least 2~3 senior programmers with few years of experience and like 5months time. Now within a month, boom it's out. Solo coded. Insane.

I suppose I was lucky with being able to spam Claude Code. I have been able to get access to that for building a project for my dad. I need to lean heavy on whatever leverage I get, but yeah that was a big one when I look back at it.

I still feel that I'm not leveraging claude code to the max, especially when it comes to using all it's tools and utilities.

I haven't quite cracked it yet, but I feel there's an angle where I can set up the agent to go off and build something to a much more perfect state for a much longer time, without my interference. I'll have to start looking into that pretty soon, but I can just feel that it's there.

Ignoring claude code for like 3 months was probably one of my biggest blunders, when there's a lot of noise about something, it's definitely worth investigating into it.

As I stare down at the launch of a new project with massive potential, I am revitalized by a new hope and excitement. Chasing money was never my thing. Perhaps focusing on other metrics like user acquisition, retention may be more fun and engaging for me. We'll see. But yeah for now, I want to get 1 million users.

I will steer my destiny to greatness.
